Training ScheduleWarning: Training times and embarkation points may vary depending on weather, competition commitments and conflict with other users of the lake. We recommend you make contact before attending. Basic TrainingFor new beginners, we recommend starting with our basic session Saturday morning. This session is meant for new paddlers, as well as for all club members to get together for a lighter session and a friendly race.
If you cannot attend a Saturday basic session, please contact us for advice. Most Saturday mornings we start a Basics session at 8:45am. Conditions permitting, we stop off at the National Museum for a coffee break (bring money!) and a chat before a friendly race, then back to Lotus Bay. The boats will return by 11am. Note: some Saturdays are reserved for CDBA Regattas - contact a club member before attending. What to Wear and Bring
Squad TrainingWe also offer squad training sessions designed to prepare for interclub competition. A typical training session is usually 60 minutes on water (up to 90 mins).
